The Company has ongoing needs to archive internally produced documents and they selected PDF as their archiving file format.
Microsoft Exchange is deployed across all operating companies and provides the common infrastructure for document routing. i.Doc Professional is used as an inline infrastructure service for capturing documents, converting to PDF, embedding key meta data and storing files in the archive. At the moment the Company is implementing i.Doc for Documentum as they are in process of implementing their content management system.
